I am meeting some lovely people on my journey. Today it was Sarah Judd a journalist and Ian a photographer from the Evening Gazette. Ian took some pics and our family dog Tinkerbell couldn’t resist sneaking in on a few. I was able to talk with great ease to Sarah about my background and the road ahead and talking about it made me more excited about the journey ahead. I also had the opportunity to speak to David Westgarth from the British Dental Health Foundation to discuss National Smile Week. I can’t wait until this time next year when I will be much more confident and showing off my smile to everyone. Over the last few months I have got to know the story’s of the other two finalists and feel I already know them even though I haven’t had the opportunity to meet them. It was absolutely lovely to receive a card from one of the finalists today and I was very touched by her sentiment. I would dearly love the opportunity to meet both finalists.
