Designer Dental is delighted to be a participant with Dream Image North East. Their involvement in the project started at the very beginning when it was purely an idea, waiting to be launched into a very worthwhile project. Having worked together for many years on marketing ideas and materials for Cleveland Cosmetic and Dental Implant Clinic, Linda approached Yvonne to be involved in the organisation and co-ordination of the project.
Yvonne, Managing Director of Designer Dental comments “When Linda approached me with the idea she had to provide a life-changing experience to an individual in the area by bringing together north east professions and businesses to achieve this; I had no hesitation in wanting to be part of the project. We have worked together right from the beginning on bringing everyone together and launching the project – I have been amazed at the positive reaction when we have approached businesses and the media to be involved. When you think that everyone is giving their time and expertise completely free of charge it shows how generous people are in the area”.
So what turns an idea into reality? Many people have ideas and many people say they would like to have their own business, but very few actually do something about it. Thereby is the answer! Actually doing something about it! Dream Image North East would still be an idea in Linda’s head if she had not talked about this and had the drive and commitment to turn it into a reality. Of course when this was only an idea Linda did not have a name for the project, did not really know who would be involved, did not really know how it could be all achieved, but she had the initial idea and a commitment to drive it forward. Once this idea was shared with Yvonne, they both work began on the organisation and bringing together the ‘Dream Image Team’ and the rest of the project.
Yvonne comments “It takes hard work and commitment to turn an idea into reality and this goes for any idea you have. In marketing terms ideas are what fantastic campaigns are made of and where all successful projects start from. At the start of any new year people should think about turning their ideas into something more than just ideas– it is an ideal time to start. Taking a fresh look at everything you do in your business and professional life is always worthwhile”.
