The competition offers a wonderful  opportunity to give one lucky person a life changing experience. The team co-ordinating this competition have been so friendly from the start.
For someone who is unhappy with aspects of themselves this dream experience is the prize to win. Once Mike Heads and Paul Baguley explained what could be done for for me it opened up a whole new world,a bonus was that these surgeons managed to put a very nervous person totally at ease!
To hear i was a finalist came after a tiring day gardening and immediately made the aches and pains disappear in the excitement of recieving a beautiful bouquet of flowers and hearing the news. I was rather lost for words and the news only seemed to sink in when the team had left. The excitement stayed with me and sleep was a long time coming that night.
To win this competition would enable me to change things that i am so unhappy about, medication has deteriorated my teeth and lines and wrinkles have appeared due to age and ill health. I feel young in mind but feel i look older than my years and there is certainly room for improvement. I would not be able to make these changes without winning this competition.
People of the North East should be proud to be part of a region where people and businesses can come together and offer one person something they would have have seen as unattainable.
It would certainly mean the world to me if i should win and show that changes can be made and that dreams can come true.
