“I think the Competition is a life changing opportunity and I feel so honoured to be part of it.I personally have always been very self conscious about my image especially my face. I have had a number of facial traumas, as a result of this I have always had a negative about myself and face. This Competition could open up a  whole new life for myself and all others who have negative images about themselves.
I feel so privileged to have been a part of Dream Image North East and never expected being a finalist given there are so many deserving people. On the day I found out I was to be a finalist I received a telephone call from Linda and Yvonne asking if they could pop round to clarify a few questions. I was extremely surprised when 30 mins later I answered the door to a huge bouquet of flowers, Linda, Yvonne and Gary Walsh the Photographer who was snapping away declaring that I was a finalist.I was shocked but delighted to learn I was a finalist.
As a mum of 3 grown up children 30 yrs 25 yrs and 20 yrs as well as a 10 year old Daughter  I constantly get confused as her Grandma whether it be in the school playground or out and about. It would be great to think of having a possible transformation so for once I may be correctly identified as mummy to my 10 year old daughter. The chance of having a makeover would be lifechanging both physically and emotionally. If I had the opportunity of having my teeth corrected and whitened, my facial scarring reduced and my nose redefined it would certainly make me feel more confident in dealing with my day to day life. It seems like a dream.
I am amazed at the number of participants who have dedicated their time and expertise to the competition which certainly portrays the North East in a really positive light.”
